“You click the cookie and the cookie loves being clicked. Eh? Ya.” – Kian Delaney. Yes, that’s right. Were doing a cookie clicker first for TBN Gaming. Alright, let’s get to business.
The Beginning
To get Cookie Clicker just go to this link to play the game. (Also it should be noted I got this Cookie Clicker info from the Cookie Clicker Wiki so if you don’t understand a word I’m saying just check them out. They will explain the game much better.) Alright, here you are in a cookieless world. Your goal is to get as many cookies as possible. There is a cookie. Click it and it will give you a cookie. (This makes sense already I know.) But if you are lazy like me and don’t just want to sit around all day clicking the cookie you can buy a cursor for 10 cookies. This cursor will click the cookie for you once every 10 seconds. You will notice a little thing somewhere near the cookie that says CPS: CPS is Cookies Per Second so if you have a CPS of 3 every second you’re making 3 cookies. So now that you’ve got a cursor now what? Well, for 100 cookies you can buy a grandma. One grandma will increase your CPS by 1. You can get multiple grandmas but when you buy anything in Cookie Clicker the price will go up slightly. Ok, let’s say you’ve done all of those things and now you have a CPS of 8. Now is the time to do what Cookie Clicker is about. It’s Time to go AFK.
Farms, Mines, and Factories
For those of you out there who don’t know what going AFK is this is for you. AFK stands for Away From Keyboard. (Assuming you are playing on a computer.) To go AFK you will need the following.
A computer (To play Cookie Clicker with.)
And that’s all you need. To go AFK just leave your computer on with the Cookie Clicker tab running. That way you can do something like taking a walk and when you come back you will have lots of cookies! Even better you can be just on your computer doing anything and as long as the tab is open you will produce cookies like normal. Going AFK overnight is a great way to earn lots of cookies very fast.
Now that I’ve explained what going AFK is and how to do it let’s get on to the farms, mines, and factories. I’m just going to list the farm, mine, and factory stats here because all of them are grandmas, just better. The lowest of the 3 are farms. Farms cost 1,100 cookies to start but like all other things you can buy, they will get more expensive as you buy more of them. Each will boost your CPS by 8. Next, are mines costing 12,000 cookies. These will boost your CPS by 47 each. Lastly, is the factories. These will cause a whopping 130,000 cookies and will boost your CPS by 260 each.
Banks, Temples, Wizard Towers, Shipments, Alchemy Labs, Portals Time Machines, Antimatter Condensers, Prisms, Changemakers, Fractal Engines, JavaScript Consoles, and Idleverses
Ok, I bet you didn’t read that entire title. Anyway, these are the rest of the buildings in the game Cookie Clicker. I going to do this list-style and show the price and CPS boost each building gives.
- Banks – Cost:1.4 Million. CPS Boost:1400

Ascending and Upgrades
Now you have sextillions of cookies now what? Where do you go now that you have nothing to work for? Well, that’s where ascending comes in. On the top of your screen, you’ve probably noticed a bar that says Legacy on it. The number by the bar is how many legacies you have. If you click on that bar it will ask you if you want to ascend. If you say yes your cookie will shatter and you will leave the mortal world behind and ascend into the heavenly world. For each legacy, you will receive a heavenly chip. You can use heavenly chips to buy everlasting upgrades like making buildings cheaper. Once you have spent all of your heavenly chips you can press the reincarnate button to reincarnate into the mortal world to use your new powers. However, when you reincarnate all of your progress is lost. The upside to doing this is that you can get back to where you were before ascending and have those extra powers. Now onto upgrades. You can get upgrades on day 1 of playing this game even though I’m covering them now. Upgrades are powers you can buy with cookies to multiply your building’s CPS. Also, you can only buy an upgrade once purchasing buildings.
You now know how to play Cookie Clicker!
I think I’ve covered everything in the complex game of Cookie Clicker. If I’ve missed something big you can email me about it at tbnfainmail@gmail.com. You can also email us a fanmail letter with the same email address. The first person to email us with a 3 paragraph fan letter explaining why we are the best news site ever will win a mystery prize. (I will announce the winner in a future article) Anyway, I’ve got to go write a new “modified news” article so bye now!
