Experts say the team has potential; Team decided to be added into AFC West
There is nothing much to say about Dodge City, and barley anyone really wants to go there, but now with the new team experts say that the tourist rate of the small city will increase drastically this coming season. With the coming revenue the town will hope to build a huge and new stadium instead of just using the local high school’s football stadium which lacks both a functioning locker room and toilet.
We asked one of the long term residences of Dodge City “Old man McSanders” (as the locals call him) what he thought about the new team “Well as I see it the new team will pollute the minds of the young people and make them not work as well as they used to in my day, where we’d actually do things outside instead of just sitting watching the Television which we would do on occasion, our favorite Television show was the late night show with Steve Allen which was the beast Late Night show host in my opinion-” He went on with this for a very, very long time until he eventually fell asleep. When he came too, we told him football was a sport played outside, he told us to get out of his house and never return.
But because he didn’t answer the question we asked another person what they thought about the team, a 38 year old man who moved from Manchester City, England to Dodge City in 2001 Mihca Shcmoie had a different opinion “I think the new team will create new jobs and boost the funds for the Dodge City government, plus I love football” “what is your favorite part?” asks our field reporter Kion Delanainy “I especially like when they tie because everyone wins, I also like when the people get the red card and are thrown out of the game it’s a lot of drama.”
“One of the long term effects that this new team might have on the city is more people will want to move there causing the housing market to sky rocket in Kansas” said another interviewee (Dr. Callum Justice Harvard professor of American Football Studies or AFS for short) when we asked him what some of the effects the team might have of the state of Kansas “But also no one really wants to go to Kansas, studies done here at Harvard have proved this statement, to quote another fellow professor here at Harvard ‘People have been asked the question why do you live in Kansas so many times these are some of the answers ‘I love Kansas especially when this guy who lives next to me said ‘Kansas is verry, verry nice I really like the corn, oh wait! Did I say corn I meant wheat’ that was really funny, and we still laugh at it to this day’ as you can see people there have a really small sense of humor’ this quote really showed me a lot into the minds of the people of Kansas and how they think. no one really wants to go there because of the bleak humor and weird people there.” (DISCLAMER: I think Kansas is fine and the people are also fine) as you can tell Dr. Justice is right, in the sea of inception that was that sentence.
In other news experts say that the team has serios potential, our own researchers have done the statistics and all signs point to at least AFC champions, if not Superbowl victors. One of the reasons that we think they’re going to win is the fact that they got old Denver Broncos QB (Quarter Back) Peyton Manning out of retirement. We asked him what he thought about the situation “I can’t wait to play for the Meadowlarks. I obviously still love Denver, but I want to try something new and go somewhere different.” If you ask me this humble writer for this odd news website, I have high hopes for the new team and wish them well.
